4 weeks since my last run, all kinds of overindulgence over the holidays. I was only going at a slow pace, but even so, felt very heavy over the last 0.5km especially. It's a start.
JANUARY 12TH, 2025

Today's run felt a little better than yesterday. Just a touch lighter on the feet, though the last 0.5km I still find difficult. I think if I want to increase my distance I'm going to have to go slower for now. Both achilles tendons were fine during and after the run.
JANUARY 13TH, 2025

My right achilles was a little sore on waking but it warmed up well. I slowed right down to 6 min / km pace because I wanted to go further than just 2.5k. There were no real issues, not superout of breath, legs weren't heavy, achilles felt fine. My right knee is a tiny bit sore afterward.
JANUARY 14TH, 2025

I ran far too soon after a pretty big meal. The run didn't feel good due to that. Lesson learned. Right knee again was a little sore after but it went away pretty quickly.
JANUARY 17TH, 2025

Minus 11 degrees in the morning but I got out for a little run. Thankfully zero wind so it wasn't too uncomfortable. Overall good effort and no injuries.
