- Tempo: 10 x 60m @ 70%, walk back between about 60 seconds.
Left achilles a bit bothered on the walk home but didn't trouble during the workout itself. I actually felt quite tidy technique, a nice easy flow. Only a minor aerobic challenge and recovered quite quickly. All 60m were hovering around the 10.2 range which translates to 15.7 100m. Little fast for tempo but a good indicator of potential.

- Tempo: 9 x 80m @ 60%, walk back between 60 seconds.
This was meant to be 10 reps but on the 9th my left achilles flared up a bit. I deliberately notched it down to 60% effort today, as I am stretching out the volume. Each rep was averaging around 14.2 which converts to 17.2 second 100m. Much more what I would expect tempo pace to be for this type of workout. Nevertheless I was a little more winded than I expected I would be.
