JUNE 3RD, 2024

A longer time off then planned but life too can get in the way. Feeling a bit heavy on the legs after 10 days off.


JUNE 4TH, 2024

It felt much better than yesterday's effort. I certainly haven't lost aerobic fitness. My left achilles is a bit achey afterwards but that at this point is to be expected.


JUNE 5TH, 2024

I intended to run 5km but my hamstring was getting tight near the 4km mark so I stopped it there.


JUNE 6TH, 2024

I managed to get run complete without hamstring pain. Could have easily gone further at that pace but caution is my new mantra.


JUNE 7TH, 2024

I felt better right from the beginning. But it was a much faster pace than my 5kms. I was tempted to go on to 5km but was pretty fatigued. It was on pace for around my best 26:24
